My weekend fall ritual includes watching the Crimson Tide roll over their opponent. Every game there are moments where the athletes are running and throwing passes for yards that are laying the foundation of what ultimately will be their football legacy. Some of the players and plays may go further than others, but no matter what their time on the team is just a small part of what makes them who they are.
That is an example of what I was thinking when I came up with the name Tidbits of Heritage. Now I wasn’t watching football at the time but hey since the game is on I figured I would use that as an example here (my husband would be so proud of that exampleJ). Here is a more plain to the point example: The things we do every day, no matter how big or small to us, are what will become our heritage. All the moments we experience are tidbits of our heritage, just little snippets of who we are and what we are capable of.
While we are running down the field of life and making interceptions and tackling our problems, we need to remember to take time to enjoy the moments no matter how significant they may seem at the time because it is just a tidbit of the big picture.
